It has usually three weather in a year. From November to February is cooler, March to May are hot and from June to October is a rainy season. Peak season are November to march when humidity is lowest but during this season airfares on flights might be high and hotel might also be booked. But if you like rainy season then you can visit this place in May to September when airfares are cheaper because it is an off season and during this season city is also least crowded. Its famous places are Joe Louis theatre, the national museum and the Jim Thompson house which is a tremendous illustration of Thai structural design, with an inspiring collection of Oriental art and traditions. It has two famous airports which are handling domestic and international flights to Bangkok from U.K. and many other places of the world i.e. Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport (handling international flights) and Don Muaeng airport (handling domestic flights). Many vehicles for transportation inside the city are working but most interesting is a Tuk Tuk which is an excellent way to discover the city but make sure that you must settle the fare before to avoid any problem. |
